Assistance in Grammer for a statement

My question although it may seem trivial is realy important to me, i hope someone can help.

I am writing a statement for university currently. However, there is one sentence that i am really disturbed by. It goes as follows

"I will be commencing Psychology in the 2nd semester, which i feel will be of great benefit to me in my future studies"

Can anyone think of a better way to phrase this? I am having real problems, as i cannot be more specific as i have not begun the unit yet and i cannot know the details. However, its been put to me that i should include it in my statement..

I thankyou all for your assistance.
