Asking about cancelled future events using "should"

Hello.

Is there a way to ask about cancelled future events using "should"?

For example:

Person 1: "I've just been told to stay at home, so I won't go there tomorrow."

Person 2 doesn't know where person 1 was supposed to go so he/she asks: "Where should you go/have gone?"

I know person 2 could ask "Where were you supposed to go?" or "Where would you go?". However, I'd like to know how I can form such questions using "should".

If I use "should + have + past participle" in the question, it sounds like person 1 should have gone somewhere in the past. ("Where should you have gone?")

If I only use "should + verb" , it sounds(at least to me) like person 1 still wants to go there tomorrow . ("Where should you go?")

Any ideas how to solve my dilemma?
