Question

My teacher gave us a lot of examples. But I'm not sure yet when I could use the in a sentence where there are lots of plural nouns. The rule say: Use (no article) for plural nouns, so I've read some examples where I found "The beaches or The parachutings. Could explain me it better, please?

The article the is the definite article. It is used when you are talking about a specific noun.

Example:
I am looking for the boy. (You are looking for a specific boy.)
I am looking for a boy. (You are looking for a boy. You do not care which boy.)

The can be used with singular or plural nouns. Even when used with plural nouns, it still refers to a specific group.

Example:
I am looking for the boys. (You are looking for a specific group of boys.)

You don't always need to use an article with plural nouns and there are some plural nouns that don't use articles. But, when you use the definite article the, you are using it to refer to something specific.
