Are/were
1. My friend's telling me about a bunch of guys she met on her trip to Florida:
And I ask: "Were they cute though?" Or should it be:
"Are they cute though?"
2. Were talking about a mutual friend we have, descibing her personality and how it is when we hang out with her.
with her it's like a mysterday and you could never really understand what she's doing sometimes.
for her it's like we have to try to really make sure everything's going her way otherwise she might get pissy and throw a temper tantrum.
Are both sentences ok and the main focus I have is if the with and for are used correctly? Thanks!
3. If I was sick, I wouldn't have come to work today. Is come the right verb and verb tense?
