As to the 2nd and 3rd sentences, can I use them in a situation where myself and friends lying on bed closing eyes, and to check whether my friend has slept, can I say "are you fell asleep"? or "are you asleep"?

User_gary, can I use them in a situation where myself and friends lying on bed closing eyes, and to check whether my friend has slept,... lying in bed/on a bed with our eyes closed to check whether my friend has fallen asleep.
