Are my sentences correct not sure if I need "The" in the beginning of my sentence

The General Partners paid the legal fees for XYZ in the amount of $5,000. Please prepare a check request to reimburse GP. I have attached a copy of the invoice for your reference.

I'd remove the initial "The". I'd also drop "the" before "legal fees". Otherwise, all OK.

(You can leave yourself ( I ) out of the last sentence by using the passive voice if you want: A copy of the invoice is attached for your
