Appositive clause and noun clause.

Question

hi,could you please help me ?can a sentence with an appositive clause be separated into two sentences?like this:a) i've heard the news that they will get married next year...into:b) they will get married next year. i've heard the news. and also, could you please recommend me some sources about appositive clause on the internet?Thanks.
