To whom it may concern,

I apply this attendance grant as a PhD student and I would really like to attend 11th International Meeting on Microbial Epidemiological Markers (IMEM XI).

I studied with nosocomial pathogens and antibiotic resistance mechanisms in Molecular Epidemiology Laboratuary during my master. I continue my PhD on the same field. As a bioengineer, I am always interested in genome based methods and bioinformatics which is used on epidemiological studies. Also I want to study on microbiome on the later stages of my PhD. In this respect, the lectures of this meeting completely strike my fancy but also, the meeting is about the fields which are started to study newly in my country. I mean, I have no so many chance to learn about these subjects and this is the main reason of my willing to attend. On the other hand, as a PhD student from Turkey, learning about these markers is one of the most critical points to follow-up epidemiological changes which differentiate by migration so quickly and have the potential of causing serious consequences.

I’m sure it would be great to meet with specialists and to be in touch during my PhD and post-doc studies.

Also I want to indicate that my institution can’t provide any income for me and I continue my education by my own financial possibilities.
