Urge to find someone who can fine tune my apology letter as below. I am writting to the school which we did not bring my son to attend the admission exam due to the sickness. Please comment and advise the solution.

Dear Ms. Lo,

I am writing to apologize for my son’s (Yip Wang Hei) absence
the admission test today morning. I absolutely understand that it may lose the
opportunity for applying the admission in your school. I also considerate that if we insist to attend
the test this morning with sickness, he may not perform as good as usual, and
also not fair to the other applicants may have a chance to inflect his virus.

Once again, please be accepted my sincere apologies and I
would like to ask for one more opportunity to considerate my son’s application.
Thank you for your understanding in advance, and looking forward to seeing your
positive reply.
