Any nuances between using "verb" and "noun phrase" in these situations?
Dear all,
I am an English language learner. I am comfused when I come across the following sentences.
1(a). I think we are all in agreement that there is room for improvement.
1(b). I think we are all agreed that there is room for improvement.
2(a). The unemployed staged a rally in support of the new policy.
2(b). The unemployed staged a rally to support the new policy.
Would anyone explain whether there are nuances in the 2 situations above?
Many thanks!!
