An important (to me) letter. Could you please give me a hand with this?Thx!
Hello,
I would like to ask if somebody could help me with this email. I’ve already ask one professor about an article which could be useful for my work. Sometime ago I received a note from him that he is going to send me, by ordinary mail, his PhD dissertation but it was over month ago and nothing happened so far. So, I would like to kindly ask if he did send the work or remind him to send it. I wrote something but I need to know if this letter is smooth and polite. Any suggestions how I could improve it?
Thank you very much for your help.
Mary
Dear Professor B…,
I am sorry to bother you again. On 30th of April I received email from you in which you graciously said you would provide me with your PhD theses. It has been long time ago since that and I have not got any correspondence from you so far. I would like to know if the work was sent because I am afraid that it could get lost somewhere.
Thank you again for your assistance,
Sincerely,

It is basically OK in politeness. A few changes: Dear Professor B…, I am sorry to bother you again. On the 30 th of April I received an email from you in which you graciously offered to provide me with a copy of your PhD thesis .
