An essay
Hello,
I would be grateful if you checked my essay and would be also grateful for suggestions. This is my first attempt(which I dislike) to write a TOEFL essay.
Does food that is easy to prepare make life better?
I quite agree with the idea that easy food makes life better, and I would add that it makes life also more enjoyable, when preparing it takes less time. I will try to explain the reasons why life is better when you don't have to cook for a long time. For some people like me cooking can be like a hobby. However, I would not want to spend more than one hour in the kitchen cooking, but instead I would engage myself in more interesting and intellectual activities like reading a book, going to a museum, or a gallery, visiting my friends, or watching a favourite movie. Judging from my own experience, when I was a student I was always too busy or too tired to find extra time for cooking something for myself, so when I was busy, cooking the food that took less time was quite a helpful solution for saving time and energy for other interests and hobbies of mine which made my life better too.
