We say "Are you competing in the next marathon?" we dont say "do you compete in the next marathon?", right?Thanks

Are you competing ...? is more usual, but Do you compete ...? is also possible with a very similar meaning. Both forms of the present (the simple and the continuous) can be used with future meaning.
