All normal standards/morals

One holiday that is celebrated around the world is April Fools' DAy ... Where did such a strange holiday come from? Experts are divided in their opinions ... Others point out that many ancient cultures had a festival with customs like this. For those days, all normal standards would be ignored.

Hi,
Does "all normal standards" in the above refer to "all normal morals" or something else? Thanks.
