Ace off
"I aced him off the court." Can I use this when I hit a good serve which my opponent struggles to return and is therefore forced to move out wide?
When you serve in tennis, you have to toss the ball, put the racquet behind your head and then hit down on the ball. What would the verb 'pronate' mean in this context? Is it the act of hitting the ball when you serve?
