Aborted and got aborted
Can you please confirm whether my understanding is correct for the statements given below?
'The processing is aborted' -- means Somebody aborted the processing.
'The processing got aborted' -- means The processing is aborted automatically (eg: due to some errors)
'The processing is aborted' -- means Somebody aborted the processing.

"Got" is past tense, "is" is present. "Is" announces that the process is no longer going. I think "got" or "gets" implies that there is some reason, and so, normally, you would follow with why it was aborted.
