Howdy,
I'd like you to take a look at the following email and let me know if it's 100% correct, and if not, what is to be corrected?
We would like to inform you that due to our exam in Greek language we
have not been able to come this week. We are in the course of reading
the books you advised us and we will come to see you on Monday the 19th,
if that is okay with you.

'Howdy' is not a very natural greeting, Anglista, unless it is a humorous one you share with a friend. We are sorry that because of our Greek exam, we have not been able to come this week.
