A question about the weather
I saw two sentences both listed on the text book
(1) It rains a lot in winter in Taiwan.
(2) It rains a lot in Taiwan in winter.
Which one is more correct? Thank you
(1) It rains a lot in winter in Taiwan.
(2) It rains a lot in Taiwan in winter.

They are both equally good. The second sentence emphasises Taiwan a little as it is before in winter. Theoretically, the correct order is m anner + p lace + t ime , but you need not observe that rule if the sentence sounds good even though the adverbs are in the "wrong" order.
