My dictionary says that Philippines is a noun, not an adjective. The way it is used in the above sentence is grammatically the same as saying a France girl or a Spain girl. I know that in English sounding good sometimes overrides grammaticality. Does a Philippines girl sound good to native ears or should this be considered a mistake?
