A is higher than B :-)
hi,
!!! its not about using "high" for "tall" in sentences such as "Peter is taller than Jim" .... :-)
I am curious whether the following "constructs" make sense (perhaps, in certain context?) to native Eng speakers:
(1) Person A is, figuratively speaking, higher than person B in my mind.
(2) Dolphins are believed to be higher that other sea mammals.
(meaning "intellectually higher" of course)
thanks!
