Can I say,
(a) The teacher canned him because his test was failed / he failed the test.
(b) He bought an ice cream / bought ice cream.
(c) The morning glory crept (up) / on / near the fence.
(d) She took two slices of bread for breakfast.
(e) They lived at /by / near the seaside.

Top answer
a) should end in he failed the test. However, the expression "canned him" means fired or dismissed from a job. A teacher wouldn't "fire" a student.
