A coffee
Hi everyone,
I saw the following dialogue:
Client: I'd like a coffee.
Waitress: Just a coffee?
Client: Yes, just a coffee.
Waitress: Okay, a coffee for you. Got it.
I am guessing that because that coffee that the client wants remains non-specific (ANY coffee), the indefinite article is used throughout, right?
