A Bomb

One bomb-in a fit to prove supremacy-Hiroshima.
One bomb-to possess another's land-Kashmir.
One bomb-to spread terror-London.

Every bomb-
Instant destruction-

Half broken walls of tall buildings.

Fully burnt trees with fruits smoked.

Pieces of cloth stuck to the roads.

A wheelchair with someone's grandfather

now with just one wheel and his mustache

remaining as proof.

A baby's bath-tub, once with bubbles

left with the colour red and

a shredded rubber duck.

That window through which a beautiful girl

looked out to see her lover pass by

shattered to pieces ,one piece with two fingers

still holding it tight.



Did no scientists create something

that is like a bomb,

which with one throw,

brings instant Peace;

And forever harmony?
