2 ways of saying a sentence, which to say?
TO vs FOR
1 Who can I ask to lend me 5 dollars.
2 Who can I ask for 5 dollars.
Until vs Before
1 I worked here for 3 month until/before I won the lottery and became rich.
Suppose vs NO suppose
1 How am I to know not to do that?
2 How am I supposed to know not to do that?
I vs ME
1 He has a nicer position than me/I do.
Reservation vs Reserve
In whose name should the reservation be?/In whose name should I reserve the room?
ABOUT vs NO ABOUT
1 Now that I'm about to leave work/now that I'm leaving work, I'm no longer tired./feeling tired.
Could you help me with this please?
- You're better off being 4 people in a suite than 2 people in a standard room pricewise and no matter the length of stay/what the length of stay is, the breakfast is 5 dollars per person.
