2 sentences having trouble
How would you say these 2 sentences please?
1 You'll eat better if you win. When you lose you don't have an appetite.
2 The stations are much longer on this subway line. (does that make sense: takes longer to get to the next station?)

"You will eat with a greater appetite if you win."
The reason is that I cannot imagine what "better eating" may
represent. It's likely to be demonstrating of good manners while
