Grammar

impressed 'with'? or impressed 'by'?

That is confusing me quite a bit...they both seem grammatical to me but then again i'm not a native speaker. Please help me!

Which sentence is more idiomatic?

'I was impressed with him' OR 'I was impressed by him'

Thanx guys ^^
