According to the Ministry of Education and Sciences, the first quarter for the school year 2020-2021 will mainly operate through distance learning programs.<br \/>\nCurrently, a total of 29,980 cases of COVID-19 has been recorded in the country, with 1,111 total deaths. The volume of reported daily cases in Kyrgyzstan has yet to flatten, however, there is a significant drop in the number of active cases in the country.<br \/>\nFor sanitary and prevention purposes, the ministry announced full implementation of distance learning in all schools and all grade levels in the country. Teachers from various schools in Kyrgyzstan are expected to <a href=\"https:\/\/akipress.com\/news:645912:Kyrgyz_Education_Ministry_to_launch_webinars_on_online_teaching\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">undergo training to improve<\/a> the quality of their online learning services.<br \/>\nEducation experts are also monitoring other countries&#8217; approaches to distanced learning to help them come up with better guidelines for online learning programs.<br \/>\nFirst on the list is digitalizing textbooks and improving its contents to suit the self-learning experience of home-schooling.
