Saving money is actually not as easy as it may sound like, and with numerous temptations out there to spend our money in makes it a very tricky resolution.<\/span><br \/>\n<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According to a survey from Capital One Financial Milestones, 71 percent of Americans are planning to save their money while 34 percent plans to pay off existing debts.<\/span><br \/>\n<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The survey also showed that in saving money, 51 percent of Americans opted to eat out less, with 21 percent of which consider packing lunch for work or school. Monthly subscriptions are also a thing that 47 percent of the respondents think they should take away from their expense; this includes cable tv subscription.<\/span><br \/>\n<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">But, CNBC Select gives another option in saving money. They suggest having a credit card. Certain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2019\/04\/24\/how-using-a-credit-card-instead-of-cash-helped-me-save-money.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">credit cards will let you save hundreds<\/a> on eating out at partnered restaurants, monthly subscription deals, and even grocery shopping.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">How can a credit card help save money?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Using a credit card on your regular purchases gives you reward points.
