Cheating students caught red-handed<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

A professor suspected that there are a few cheating students during exams. But, he is having a hard time identifying who these perpetrators were.<\/span>
\nIn desperation to catch these cheating students on the act, the professor had a crazy idea.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was very unorthodox and, at the same time, brilliant.<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The suspicion is that students are using their mobile phones during university exams to come up with the answers. The professor came up with a plan to trick these cheating students in a very ingenious way possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reasons behind cheating in exams<\/span><\/h2>\n

Among teens, cheating became a concerning problem<\/a>, especially in the academe.<\/span>
\nGadgets<\/span><\/strong>. With the aid of technology such as mobile phones and the internet, the risk of getting caught has become lower, but, with greater rewards. Instead of using technology to improve learning<\/a>, some take advantage of it to give in to their selfish reasons.<\/span>
\nSome students are opting-in with the option of cheating rather than studying for a test or an exam.<\/span>
\nExtracurricular activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>The fatigue from being involved in numerous school organizations, sports, and or other extracurricular activities opens up the option of preferring cheating rather than spend time studying.<\/span>
\nValues at home.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Sometimes, there are those households that pressure their children to do good in school and get high grades.<\/span><\/p>\n

Catching a fish by its own mouth<\/span><\/h2>\n

The exam consisted of two parts; Part A was fairly easy since it mainly consists of lectures and lessons discussed in class, Part B was the bait, a question that never mentioned in class.<\/span>
\nAfter the professor checked the exams, he sent out emails to all the students explaining the reason behind the Part B of the exam – and it shocked the whole class.<\/span>
\nPart B was bait<\/span><\/strong>. The professor was quite aware that some of the students are using a website named Chegg<\/a> to check for exam answers, which is strictly prohibited and considered cheating.<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe professor made an account on the website and plotted his fake question with an unsuspecting fake answer. The question on the website is the same question for Part B.<\/span><\/p>\n

Automatically, those who answered the fake answer he professor plotted are obviously cheating.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Out of the 99 examinees, 14 were found guilty for cheating the exam. Apparently, they have accessed the website during toilet breaks to get answers for the exam. <\/strong>The cheating students were marked zero for the exam and were reported to the University Officials for disciplinary action on the grounds of cheating.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
