This was warned by a think tank, which suggested that the research fundings could be kept on hold if no action is taken on this matter. The research grants should be made available only to those institutions which actually commit to reducing the racial differential.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has been frequently found that the black and ethnic minority (BM<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">E) students feel less secure and paid less attention to when compared to others at the institution. It is expected that universities should participate in closing down the gap, but so far only 56 institutes have committed to doing this.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a research paper released by the Higher Education Policy institute, such problems are avoided by the majority of the universities by considering it and treating it as someone else\u2019s problem.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Racial inequality is not a fact at any level<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Various reports have been reviewed and it has been found that the race is often considered a secondary priority on the equality agenda, whereas the gender remains the first. However, if we want to make higher education available for all, we have to think about maintaining racial equality. Some do believe that limiting the funds would be a good and a firm start to the movement.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A situation became very evident last month in the University College London, where the graduates wrote an open letter describing that there are not enough African students in a master\u2019s course in African studies.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/education\/education-news\/universities-racial-inequality-racism-research-funding-a9110861.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> The students want to \u2018decolonize\u2019 the system.<\/a><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When asked about the status and the issues, authorities have come to the fact that they need to work out. There is still so much to be done in this area and to ensure that<a href=\"https:\/\/www.englishforums.com\/news\/us-school-race-income\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> students from all the racial backgrounds are provided equal opportunities for their higher education.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Racial inequality is becoming so common that we have accepted as if it was a fact, especially in higher education.
