QS Graduate Employability Rankings for 2020 have named graduates of the University of Sydney as the most favored in the labor market in Australia.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>
\nThe QS Graduate Employability Rankings<\/a> of 2020 also rank University of Sydney graduates as the fourth most employable graduates globally, after assessing about 700 universities and 45,000 employers all over the world.<\/span>
\nThis ranking did not come as a surprise as the Sydney University for five (5) years has topped the rating in Australia with regards to graduate employability. However, the university was at the fifth position in the QS Graduate Employability Rankings.<\/span>
\nWith the newly published rating, Sydney University moved up one place and is presently at the fourth position in QS Graduate Employability Ranking.<\/strong> The University of Sydney follows the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, and the University of California Los Angeles in the rating published today.<\/span>
\nElated by the ranking of the University of Sydney, the Vice-chancellor and Principal, Dr. Michael Spence expressed excitement at the continued top position of the university. In his words:<\/span><\/p>\n

He said that the curriculum of the university prepares students to enter the labor market ready for all workplace challenges. He describes:<\/span><\/p>\n

QS Graduate Employability Rankings<\/h2>\n

The QS Graduate Employability ranking assesses how Universities adequately prepare their graduates for the workplace environment. It also liaises with employers to ask them to identify universities from which they source the most competent, innovative, capable graduates.\u00a0<\/span>
\nFive (5) determining elements influence this ranking;\u00a0<\/span>
\nemployer reputation, alumni outcomes, partnerships with employers per faculty, employer\/student connections, and the graduate employment rate.<\/span><\/p>\n

How the University of Sydney took fourth place in QS Graduate Employability Ranking<\/b><\/h3>\n

Some factors propelled the University of Sydney to the fourth position on the QS Employability Ranking.<\/a> Firstly, the university organizes real-world projects for students with over <\/span>45 International and indigenous organizations<\/span><\/a> cutting across all government and private parastatals.\u00a0<\/span>
\nThe University of Sydney undergraduates is exposed to opportunities to work on projects with organizations like Ernst and Young, MS Research, Westpac, Accenture, Adobe, and so many others.\u00a0<\/span>
\nAdditionally, the University of Sydney is the only Australian university that participated in the Airbus Global University Partner Program, amongst twenty-six (26) other internationally recognized Universities.\u00a0<\/span>
\nThe Airbus Global University Partner Program leverage students the opportunity to travel to other countries to work on projects with engineers at Airbus\u2019 facilities in the United Kingdom.<\/span>
\nThe University of Sydney ranks forty-two in the overall <\/span>QS World University Rankings<\/span><\/a>, and thirty (30) of its subjects are ranked among the top fifty (50) globally in the <\/span>QS Subject Rankings<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>
