This approach is imperfect, and this makes university admissions questionable.<br \/>\n<b>Statistics show high inaccuracy in university admissions\u2019 structures. Expressly, <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucu.org.uk\/media\/8409\/Predicted-grades-accuracy-and-impact-Dec-16\/pdf\/Predicted_grades_report_Dec2016.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>only sixteen percent (16%) of applicants<\/b><\/a><b> correlate with the predicted marks.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>Students failed by university admissions<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The utilization of a system where students\u2019 admissions are founded on predicted results has proven to be a failure. Specifically, many applicants\u2019 chances are hindered by a bias structure.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<b>The existence of both <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucu.org.uk\/article\/10233\/Another-increase-in-unconditional-offers-highlights-need-for-radical-change\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>unconditional and conditional offers<\/b><\/a><b> has been significantly criticized by the University and College Union (UCU).\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These opportunities are crafted in such a way that students only attain a place if the desired university is placed as the first choice.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This shows the failure of the admission system because of the presence of certain aspects such as favoritism.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<b>Universities in the United Kingdom have come to acknowledge this challenge.\u00a0<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He also affirmed that unconditional and conditioned opportunities replicated pressure-selling strategies that were detrimental to students\u2019 grades.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Universities\u2019 options in a post-qualification admissions (PQA) system<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A PQA structure will come in handy in enabling universities to resolve the admission challenge.<\/span><br \/>\n<b>It will enable students to make university applications after they have attained their results.
