The absence of such a foolproof process will result in students no longer having access to financial grants and loans.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Trump administration unsuccessful defying the ruling<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Although the rule was imposed in 2016, during the Obama administration, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the California Department of Consumer Affairs did not pay much heed, until Apr 2019, when a judge ruled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.cand.331030\/gov.uscourts.cand.331030.50.0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">against<\/a> the attempted hold-ups in the matter. <\/span><br \/>\n<strong>With failed attempts from the Trump administration to rescind the law, the department of education ultimately decided to put the plan into action.<\/strong><br \/>\nAs a result, the Consumer Services and Housing Agency has now announced the launch of extensive information campaign, starting Monday, that guides students on registering complaints when needed.<\/p>\n<h3>Complaint procedure put in place<\/h3>\n<p><strong>According to Russ Heimerich, the deputy secretary of communications, the students attaining education from outside the state can record their complaints on the official website of consumer affairs, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dca.ca.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.dca.ca.gov<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong> or get in touch through toll-free number 833-942-1120.<\/strong> <\/span><br \/>\n<strong>Such a system will not only address student\u2019s educational or financial problems but also tackle unscrupulous school practices.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Currently, there are, in total, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">300,000 students in California enrolled in online educational programs.
