\nCalifornia has one of the most stringent vaccination laws in the US and the pressure to get the kids immunized with an extensive list of vaccines is taking a toll on the parents.
\nIt was in 2016 when California declared the rigorous vaccination laws in the state, requiring all kids to get immunized regardless of their personal beliefs or religious conduct. <\/b>Failing which, the law authorized schools to deny entry to students into the school premises.<\/span><\/p>\n

Evading the vaccination law<\/b><\/h3>\n

Following the announcement, the state witnessed<\/a> a rapid rise in vaccine exemptions as parents sought loopholes. <\/span>As reported by Bee, some medical professionals in California chose to exploit their powers by granting exemptions to earn a few extra bucks.<\/b> Suspicions were raised with an increasing number of \u201cother reasons\u201d indicated on the doctor\u2019s certificate in doing away with vaccines.<\/span>
\nIn fact, over four thousand exemption cases were observed by kindergarten schools in the state.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kindergarten admissions take a hit<\/b><\/h3>\n

An unusual decline in kindergarten admissions in the past three years suggests that parents have found a way to work around the system – homeschooling.\u00a0<\/b>
\nTo put it in context, the academic year of <\/span>2018-2019 saw over six thousand unvaccinated cases against one thousand observed during the 2016-2017 academic year.<\/span>
\nAccording to a survey conducted by the IEM Schools, a public charter school system, parents mentioned \u201cvaccination needs\u201d as one of the prime reasons for homeschooling their kids.<\/b>
