{"id":18693,"date":"2019-07-23T12:10:43","date_gmt":"2019-07-23T12:10:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.englishforums.com\/news\/?p=18693"},"modified":"2019-07-23T12:10:43","modified_gmt":"2019-07-23T12:10:43","slug":"egypt-and-china-technical-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.englishforward.com\/news\/egypt-and-china-technical-education\/","title":{"rendered":"Egypt and China to join forces in incredible technical education partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On Monday, representatives from <\/span><b>the Chinese and Egyptian government signed an agreement, outlining their joint efforts to improve technical education in Egypt.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The main goal of the deal is to secure new technical equipment for a technical school, part of the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/scuegypt.edu.eg\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Suez Canal University<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During an official ceremony, China\u2019s representative Liao Liqiang and Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr, agreed that <\/span><b>this joint program is a significant step forward for the partnership and cooperation between the nations.\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The diplomatic and political Sino-Egyptian relationship has been under constant improvement for the past several years, and this agreement is only one example. <\/span><b>Both countries participated in numerous culture and education-related collaborations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and projects in the past five years.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This agreement also complies with recent remarks by Egypt\u2019s President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, who claimed that <\/span><b>education on technology and digital outlets should be the primary focus for the Ministry of Education, as it is the gateway to the future prosperity of the country.<\/b><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Education in Egypt<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To battle the growing employment crisis in the country,<\/span><b> the government is actively looking to improve the educational system.\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Private schools in the country have already started following the \u201cJourney of Entrepreneurship\u201d program, also referred to as the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.englishforums.com\/news\/imagination-innovation-and-entrepreneurship-a-new-formula-for-school-curriculum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">JOE<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> program. This teaching method was first introduced in Singapore and has since been implemented in many countries across the world.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As part of the JOE program, schools aim to equip students with broader communication skills, and not only theoretical knowledge.
