{"id":18645,"date":"2019-07-20T19:49:23","date_gmt":"2019-07-20T19:49:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.englishforums.com\/news\/?p=18645"},"modified":"2019-07-20T19:49:23","modified_gmt":"2019-07-20T19:49:23","slug":"education-labor-bosnia-and-herzegovina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.englishforward.com\/news\/education-labor-bosnia-and-herzegovina\/","title":{"rendered":"Education and labor market should work in tandem for Bosnia and Herzegovina to join EU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bosnia and Herzegovina has aspirations to join the European Union, and to do that, both <\/span><b>the educational system and the labor market should perform up to a certain standard.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> During a public meeting with citizens and EU representatives, EU Ambassador to BiH, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/europa.ba\/?page_id=5497\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lars-Gunnar Wigemark<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has stated that to move closer to the integration with the European community, Bosnia and Herzegovina will have to focus on education.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The educational system and the labor market should be tightly connected so that students can benefit from a smooth transition. <\/span><b>During the meeting in \u010cajni\u010de, more than one hundred business representatives had the opportunity to talk to two EU AMbassadors<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and members of the educational system.<\/span><br \/>\n<b>The main questions for EU Ambassador Wigemark revolved around the integration process <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and what Bosnia and Herzegovina will have to do to begin it. Other essential topics for community members were the improvements necessary to make the education system better.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Labor market and the EU<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The EU is a very well oiled machine, and the union has a very rigid framework for the labor market in place, and if Bosnia and Herzegovina join students will have to be able to comply with EU standards. Both EU Ambassador Wigemark and EU Ambassador of the Netherlands Reinout Vos have claimed that <\/span><b>education is an essential aspect of the integration process.<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">EU countries are more open to labor markets and educational systems around the world, not only in Europe. Just recently, Germany signed an agreement with Singapore to work on developing <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.englishforums.com\/news\/vocational-education-for-strengthening-the-sino-german-ties\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">vocational<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> education in both countries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bosnia and Herzegovina has aspirations to join the European Union, and to do that, both the educational system and the labor market should perform up to a certain standard.
