Department for Education (DfE) revealed the plan for building \u201cthe best EdTech ecosystem in the world\u201d by implementing the <\/b>new strategy.<\/b><\/a> UK economy has estimated that the edtech exports have a <\/b>\u00a3170 million value in <\/b>developing future learning technologies<\/b><\/a> in the face of tightening school budgets.<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>
\nDaphne Koller, the online study space creator of Coursera, is one of the leading women EdTech pioneers globally. She started <\/span>Coursera<\/span><\/a> with Andrew Ng in 2012. The company now has an estimated value of $1 billion with 40 million students after seven years since its founding.<\/span>
\nAnother EdTech\u2019s leading unicorn is <\/span>Lynda<\/span><\/a>. It was founded by Lynda Weinman but was later sold to LinkedIn with a worth of $1.5 billion.\u00a0<\/span>
\nA former primary school teacher and foundational owner of an online learning resource called <\/span>Twinkl<\/span><\/a>, Susie Seaton join the EdTech revolution as she stated this:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are some amazing edtech innovations out there, but the key question is: \u2018How would this work in the classroom?<\/strong>\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

An AI-powered studying platform was being dispensed in 700 new schools thanks to the signed deal with the officials of Belgium. It\u2019s called <\/span>Century Tech <\/span><\/a>and was established by a business tycoon, Priya Lakhani. She says the company:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGave me useful insights into some of the challenges facing educators and made me question the traditional model of education.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Century Tech received \u00a36 million funding with the cooperation of 60 team members supporting Lakhani. As she mentioned, it is now being operated:\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEverywhere from leading British independent schools to Lebanese schools educating large numbers of Syrian refugees.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Siobhain Archer, a former secondary school teacher, founded <\/span>Teachit <\/span><\/a>in 1999.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s vital to keep teachers at the heart of any successful EdTech enterprise. Too often, the tech leads the process, which means tech for the sake of tech.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Teachit was soon eligible by the Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) and also <\/span>Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (<\/span>AQA), a high-level education applications provider.<\/span><\/p>\n
